Kramatorsk Island was initiated by DASH!design school in cooperation with a local ngo terykon, and realized with a group of teenagers in Kramatorsk.
Phase 1: logo image and front cover design. The project image, serves also as a symbol, often needs to work both in online and offline spaces, which means it will be used in various sizes. This necessity requires playfulness between shape and line.
Phase 2: Kramatorsk Island Illustration project publication conveys nine personal stories accompanied by a visual narration that resembles a shot from a movie. One of the stories also got a voiceover which opens a next opportunity for the project development. There are always more opportunities than one can see in the beginning
