Upon the invitation of Andrii Pavlov I had the pleasure to work on a series of illustrations for a new city bistro Blänke in the central part of the capital city of Ukraine. This place is specialized in Franco-Italian dishes based on milk from exotic black buffaloes from the eco-farm TasBio which is located nearby Kyiv.
The image of the buffalo in combination with a typographic logo was set as a main piece for the brand identity and packaging. Below you may find some of the options for the buffalo image before the final decision has been taken.
Along with the buffalo illustration a set of the following themes have been hand-illustrated in black ink: milk products, drinks, main dishes, and sandwiches. These images have been used for the web-presence of the brand. See the video from the website here.
